Specifically what I'm going to be drinking. Bloody Mary's. Monday.
If we still had PB1 I'd look up the old discussion ... I don't usually make Bloody Mary's, so I'm looking for any tips you'd like to share.

v8 juice has some chemical in it that I'm allergic to. I'd say, if you're gonna do it... do it RIGHT... make your own juice instead of using a can of V8. But... since I'm not gonna be there anyway, you don't have to go to all that trouble on my behalf.
Also: Thanks for resuscitating this thread.

Bloody Mary's....so delicious! I like to just use regular tomato juice and vodka, and I add in Tabasco, olives, celery, pepper, cayenne pepper, and limes. (either juice or sliced)

::looks around room:: I think I left my coffee cup in the other room. I haven't tried the Heath creamer yet, I usually just stick with Vanilla.

I was definitely thinking plain tomato juice, not V8. Olives I hadn't thought about. I was also debating between Tabasco or horseradish.

My vote is for the Tabasco. ...although, the horseradish sounds interesting. I'm just not sure if it's sounds interesting enough to finish the glass if it turns out to be terrible. Have you tried that before?

Several of the recipes I have seen use horseradish. I probably will go with the Tabasco.

Fairly classic. They were very good. I'd forgotten - I had some homemade pepper vodka (damn near toxic, but excellent) so no horseradish needed and just the tinniest bit of tobasco for the flavor. Reasonable amount of worcestershire and a dash of black pepper. They were so richyoueither had to wait for the ice to melt or add a bit of tonic.

I drank Hell's Belle again the other night - I know puma likes that stuff. It wasn't as bad as I remember it but it still tasted a bit watered down and too bitter at the same time.
